Brijesh has been associated with the firm since 2012, assisting clients on all matters relating to indirect taxes. Prior to the advent of GST, he has worked extensively in diverse areas of indirect taxation and allied laws including Central Excise, Service Tax, VAT and Customs.
He advises many multinational companies, large domestic companies including major public sector undertakings by devising an efficient tax structure and finding practical solutions for peculiar issues faced by them. He also handles several long-term retainer clients, providing advice on their day-to-day business transactions.
He is involved in undertaking indirect tax compliance reviews for clients providing advisory on fiscal incentive optimization, compliance guidelines and ensuring that tax benefits are augmented. He has also drafted representations on behalf of industry associations on several key issues.
He is enrolled with the Karnataka State Bar Council.
