The Ministry of Electronics and Information Technology has on 3 January 2025 released the Draft Digital Personal Data Protection Rules, 2025 for public consultation, a crucial milestone nearly 15 months after the Digital Personal Data Protection Act, 2023 received Presidential Assent.
