The London Court of International Arbitration (LCIA), India will organise an international symposium on ‘Innovation and Technology in Arbitration’. The conference will be held on 7th July, 2012 in Bangalore.
Focussing on how technological tools and solutions can aid in reducing cost and time involved in arbitration, the session will cover use of witness-conferencing besides giving an insight into third party funding of international claims.
The last session will be a discussion on advantages, feasibility and challenges involved in combining the processes of arbitration and mediation or using the two processes simultaneously.
